Helen and Jamie married over the easter weekend at the always perfect Shropshire beaut, the Mill Barns…
We were beyond lucky with the weather, bearing in mind it has been raining every day for the past 3 years - Helen and Jamie threw one heck of a bash. With so many young families on the guest list, including their own two, they hired wedding nannies, a bouncy castle (adults not allowed! Under no circumstances did the bride and groom jump about on it for a photo and there’s no way to prove otherwise. Oh wait…) and put on an easter egg hunt. For the larger kids, there was crazy golf and for Jamie, a surprise gift of new golf clubs from his wife to be. Honestly, hearing his little whispered ‘no way!’ as he opened them was weirdly adorable*
Heads up: There’s loads of pics which I’ve tried to shave down as this is only a sneak peek. If you need to take a break whilst scrolling, I recommend maybe getting a child to hold your phone in front of you and getting them to use their young, fit and healthy thumbs to scroll for you. It’s both character building and a bonding moment to be treasured. Also you can encourage them to make healthier eating choices by handing over all their Kinder Bueno eggs**
Oh, and by the way. Overachieving bride announcement: Helen also made HER OWN FREAKING CAKE.
