Stephanie and Mark at Pimhill Barn

I’ve always loved an intimate family wedding. Oh, and dogs. And Pimhill Barn. So what we have here is the perfect blend of all these things resulting in the most fantastic bijou (thanks Covid) wedding for Stephanie and Mark yesterday.

With their wedding plans eroded throughout this year by government restrictions, our steadfast couple hung on in there to marry on their original wedding date with plans to rock a big ol’ party next year for all those guests unable to attend. Not least of which was the bride’s brother who was self-isolating, but joined us for a quick family snap thanks to the joys of video-calling.

PImhill has long been a favourite venue of mine. The barn is just beautiful and despite being big, was still a cosy and atmospheric space for 15 of us. Tipples Bar and catering supplied the Corona (the beer of course!) and the Moroccan inspired menu which was blinkin’ amazing. With the couple’s dog Rudy dropping in as a surprise, the day felt complete and he had the best time getting allll the fuss (not least from me. He is the goodest boy!).

I’ve popped links at the bottom of this crazy-long blog for the wedding suppliers who are - like all of us - working so hard to make sure that weddings are still every bit as meaningful and perfect as they can be.
