Long time no blog...

Well hello 2023, you cheeky thing. I’ve been expecting you…

After a ‘tricky’ couple of years it’s all a little calmer now, so I can actually get some blogging done. I figured I may as well kick off with the brand-newest-shiniest-straight-out-of-the-box wedding which happened yesterday at Eden Church in Malvern.

Natalie and David married in a teeny ceremony, shared via Zoom (remember those times?) two years ago, so this was their chance to have their marriage blessed in front of real, live actual people and have a real, live actual party to celebrate. Huzzah!

Eden Church offered a slightly different location from usual, being modestly situated on a business park, so we made the best of any outside space (the car park!) and braved the chilly wind for a few pics before celebrations continued inside. Wedding notes include:

Ridiculously cute children and babies. Bloody adorable.

Fabulous guests who know how to have a good knees up (especially after I nearly froze them all outside)

Two cakes. TWO. CAKES. It’s an American tradition apparently which means the Groom gets a whole other cake alongside the traditional wedding cake. I’m still suspicious that this was just David’s way of getting more cake, but honestly, I’m here for it.

Here for the first time this year, a sprinkling of pics for you to gawp at…
