Louise and Robin's Portmeirion Winter Wedding
Ooooh, you know I love a Portmeirion wedding, yeah? And you also know I love the Christmas (of course I do!). Well then, you can only begin to imagine how annoyingly giddy I was when I got to shoot this little beauty yesterday…
Louise and Robin married yesterday in the incredible Hercules Hall in the heart of Portmeirion with further celebrations at the hotel which sits at the bottom of the village overlooking the Dwyryd Estuary. It’s blinking idyllic is what it is.
With a guest list of their favourite family and friends and beautiful touches from dried florals by their foraging florist friend* to felted heart favours made by the bride herself using fleeces fron their neighbour’s sheep, dyed using flowers from their own garden… Good grief Louise, rein it in!** It was an intimate winter wedding of the very best kind. It even stopped raining for the afternoon! Handy really, as with a 3:00pm wedding, we were chasing the last vestiges of light to make the most of the surroundings before retreating to the warm.
*I have a friend vacancy for one of these. Just saying.
**Louise should NOT rein it in. She is a force of crafty nature!
Here, as is the way of sneak peek blogs, is a sneak peek. In blog form. Have a butchers.
